Meet Our Team

Destiny Howard, MS, RDN, LD, CNSC

Registered Dietitian & Practice Owner

Destiny is the owner of Digestive Health Nutrition LLC and leads a team of dietitians who are passionate about helping people overcome digestive issues, gain confidence around food, and feel more at peace in their body.

As a practitioner, Destiny combines expertise in medical nutrition therapy, complex GI disorders, psychology, and the gut-brain connection to shape her approach. She helps clients explore patterns they feel stuck in and offers practical problem-solving strategies to help them achieve meaningful lasting results.

Destiny is a recognized expert in her field and helps shape the future of nutrition in healthcare as a clinical supervisor, career mentor, and graduate professor. Outside of her practice, she enjoys eating, exploring new foods, traveling, and time with family.

“It is great to see the “aha moments” clients have as they identify their triggers, overcome challenges, and improve how they feel!”

Ashley knows gut issues are complicated and impact many areas of a person’s life. She has dedicated her career to providing personalized nutrition care for individuals so they can experience liberation from discomfort and find joy in eating again.

During appointments, Ashley creates a sincere and non-judgmental space for clients to share their struggles and offers gentle encouragement to keep them moving forward. By emphasizing self-compassion, she empowers clients to identify and move past the fear or shame holding them back.

Ashley has spent twelve years in practice helping thousands of individuals optimize their health and quality of life. When not seeing clients, she enjoys time for creativity in the kitchen and is featured on a local TV station’s cooking segment demonstrating some of her recipes.

“I love celebrating with my clients when they can take a road trip, require less sick leave from work, or simply enjoy food again!”

Karla Sigala, MS, RDN, LD

Registered Dietitian & Associate

Karla believes that everyone deserves to enjoy food and appreciate their body, regardless of shape or size. Even when digestive issues, diet restrictions, or body discomfort make this feel impossible, it’s her mission to help each client find their way.

With so much misinformation online, Karla understands the search for answers can leave a person feeling lost. She helps clients ditch the diet culture messages and learn what works for them. She knows that every body is unique and nutrition goes way beyond just knowing what to eat!

As a bilingual dietitian, Karla provides a judgement-free and culturally-sensitive space for clients to share their stories. She encourages her clients to get curious rather than critical about the obstacles standing in their way. From there, she guides them through long-term behavior changes that support physical, mental, and social well-being.

In her free time, Karla enjoys playing volleyball, exploring local restaurants, and traveling with family and friends.

“I enjoy connecting with people and hearing their stories. By taking time to listen, I find better ways to help them reach their goals.”

As an advanced clinical nutrition practitioner, Jennifer is passionate about helping people heal from complex gastrointestinal issues and find freedom from eating disorders.

With more than a decade of specialized training and experience, she understands the power of the gut-brain connection and blends evidence-based nutrition science with mindfulness and other therapeutic nutrition modalities to shape her approach.

In sessions, Jennifer offers a welcoming and supportive environment. She values every person’s lived experience and enjoys creatively problem-solving alongside each of her clients. By getting to the root of their concerns and sharing sustainable strategies for self-care, she helps them finally fit all the pieces of the puzzle together.

Outside of sessions, Jennifer enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her family.
